On April 2-4, 2004, hundreds of students from around the country converged at the Claremont Colleges in sunny Southern California for the 8th Annual National Student Conference on the Mixed Race Experience. Hosted by Claremont's mixed heritage/transracial adoptee student organization, MORE (Multiracial Organization Redefining Ethnicity), the weekend offered attendees dozens of workshops and speakers celebrating the mixed race experience.
